April 2012:
4 years later finds me leaving Illinois climate. Health would not allow me to tolerate the humidity. Am now in the Arizona desert and will be returning to Palm springs in 2013, where I was diagnosed and hospitals are not 35 miles away. My co-worker friends anxiously await my return.
July 2008:
Have returned home to Illinois to finish my life. Was diagnosed with Lymphoma in February. Had one cycle of chemo and have decided - NO MORE! Will be splitting my computer time between SETI and Spinhenge.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Life itself is not constrained to the human race. It is universal.
We should be cautious about what we transmit to space.
I like SETI@home. It has a "Trekish" look.
