Personal background |
Hi SETI friends! I live in Argentina. I got my degree of Civil Engineer at Catholic University of Córdoba. I like astronomy, physics, mathematics, all about science to tell the truth. So, one day I decided to do something to help science and here I am, helping SETI@home. My computer is a Pentium III, 550 Mhz, 160 MBs RAM, and it's processing "work units" all day long.
If you want to contact me, I encourage you to do it. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I really beleave that extraterrestrial life exists. I refuse to think that we are the only "rock" in universe with such variety of life. I olso think that intelligent life must exists out there. We can't be the only species with the capability of thinking, of rasoning. Because of my believe in extraterrestrial life I decided to run SETI@home in my computer and help this way to discover an extraterrestrial signal. What wanderful would it be! Stablishing contact with an strange life could change our way of living. I think that finding extraterrestrial beings will really change our lives. Our entire social, economical, technological structure will radically change. Our future will be diferent, very diferent.
Until now I have not complaints about the program SETI@home. It's just I would like to have a powerfull computer to process units faster. |
