Yes, I do believe life does exist elsewhere; humans are pretty vain at the best of times but to say there's not life anywhere else is going pretty far...
I think we should transmit a beacon, but don't include any music/info or anything like that, just a clear signal so others can track us - let them make up their own minds.
I run Seti@home as I've always been interested in the possibilty we're not alone... plus it's probably the best screen saver out there ;-) |
