Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think that extraterrestrial life exixts. I think that when we do discover ET it will be when they are ready for it to happen.
I do not think that we should transmit a beacon for others to find. I do not think that we as humans are ready to welcome life from other planets yet. We have a lot of our own problems to solve first.
I run SETI in the hopes that I can help and be part of the team that does locate life out there.
