To those who may be interested, my day to day life consists of:
Working as a freelance web designer http://www.modernwebsites.co.uk
Writing and producing drum and bass music and attempting to release music on my own label 'Pathfinda Recordings' http://www.pathfinda.co.uk
Drumming for a heavy rock group 'Fifteen Litre' http://www.xvltr.co.uk
Helping my girlfriend with making and exhibiting her artwork http://www.pamglew.co.uk
I also find myself dealing with the crazy occurances that life throws at you.
I run SETI (now BOINC) on my home machine because I believe that even if we never find life, it's not because life doesn't exist ex-earth. It must be worth looking. I think it is also possible that the SETI project data may have other very positive uses in the future that make it worthwhile for that reason alone.
I have run SETI@home for 7 years.
Nice one to everyone working on the project.
Damien
