I have always been facinated by the night sky and filled with curiousity about being the only life source in such a huge space, it can't be, I always knew it can't be.
If life started on this little rock revolving this little star among so many many little stars, why could it not evolve elsewhere, stating the obvious I know.
There are no dangers of discovery in my opinion, why people are afraid of discovery is beyond me, if there is intelegent life close enough to be found then they know about us already, they are, if there, are not annoying us or abducting us.
If we are known out there, I believe they are seeing what kind of race we are and are keeping well away until we figure it out for ourselves.
SETI is a good idea, if we find a reliable source I wonder what we will do with it. |
