| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

As for if I believe that we're not alone; I can not see the Earth being the only place where life could/has evolved. Life on Earth has nearly been wiped out a couple of times and we only been around for a relatively short time anyway. ET could have been and gone before we even crawled out of the soup.
Would ET be a danger to us Humans?If they are technically advanced enough to come and visit, hopefully, they should have a reasonable ethical code and not wish us harm. I suspect the unwitting transfer of micro-organisms is likely to be more of a danger.
