Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I find it impossible to believe that we are the only intelligent life in the known universe. There is just too much out there that we already know about. The time to send signals from point A to point B is the main concern that I have. Can we detect any thing that is not from so far in the past that it really still exists--etc, etc, etc. I hope that in the future that this can be upscaled to include many scientific questions, and get much more world wide participation--along with government(s) and corporate funding to answer many questions that many folks have around the world. It could be that a program such as this, could somehow bridge national, social, and faith differences from around this planet. Knowledge---a wonderful human experience.
