Personal background
SETeh? Thats right another proud Canuck making his mark on the grand voyage of discovery that is SETI@HOME! I live in Windsor Ontario Canada, and am a consultant for DaimlerChrysler Canada Inc.

I'm not going to get into the gorry details of my personel life considering how public this is, safe to say, that i'm a happy little Canadian camper.

I'm proud to say I've completed well over 200 work units for a guy thats simply running the screensaver on two PC's and that I belong the SIGMA CHI FRATERNITY group, which I invite all Sig's to join whether your American or Canadian.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
ET life must exist if you follow the math....Do I believe that its humanoid life...probably not....but you never know.....Discovery is the most important thing, which makes SETI soooo important. Discovery of ET life eliminates the human super-ego...that we are in some way the center of the universe (sector 001 for all you trekkie's). Discovery would bring some sense of Peace I would hope.

Should we transmit a beacon? sure why not...Its America, if the American government can waste billions on 'star wars' why not transit a signal or two. I'd send out a copy of Shrek...that ought to freak them right out.

SETI rocks....its cool to be part of something that has endless possibilities....only I wish there was some results...like anything!

One thing.....UPDATE the website!.....you guys must have some corporate funding kicking around, and if not, have the web developer geeks of the world subscribe to this....why not enlist someone to reface the site...add some apps...online discussion....flash news..etc.

Those are my thoughts not yours.....
