| Hi, thanks for checking out my profile. I'm an earth scientist, teacher, and photographer living in Boulder, Colorado. I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the Ohio University, where I developed a strong background in climatology and geomorphology. In recent years, I've worked as an adjunct professor and web designer. When I'm not teaching or studying, you can find me hiking, mountain biking, running, snowshoeing, and running around with my dogs. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
| As I tell my students, it would be unbelievable if extraterrestrial life did NOT exist. I believe that we are on the verge of confirming the existence of such life, but we may not know how to respond to such information. I run SETI at home because in my opinion, it is currently the most comprehensive and most promising project of its kind. |
