Life must exist in the universe outside of Earth.
Contact seems unlikely given timescales and distances
What the hell, give the beacon a chance, if they come to conquer then so be it.
I run SETI because I really want to know if there is other life in the universe. SETI @home is the only thing I can realistically do to help the search!
