Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Joined Setiathome during the Beta Test. I was in the top 100 users, rank 49th. Had interest for seti, because I grew up near a large radio telescope, and it spark the nerd in me.
Setiathome, well I don't think it could find a signal in the 1.40 - 1.42 GHz of the water spectum, really should put an listerning device on the dark side of the moon scanning lower frequencys. This is one great science project, which development of the system, alone (the syrendip blar blar and the seti servers), is just amazing.
Yes there is other life, and one day we shall find out.
