Personal background |
Having been born the son of a small frog named Derick and an elephant named Molly, fitting in at school was not easy. No-one wanted such a half-breed to be part of their group, so I ended up falling in with bad company - Nigel, the psycho hamster; Jack, the kamaikaze rabbit and the dreaded, feared, DLH. Simply knowing this person's name would drive you quite, quite mad.
I have managed to forge some kind of life at University: I'm finding more people like myself every day, and everyone is so receptive to the needs and worries of the Frellephant. I'm sure I can get through with their help, plus a goodly helping of Star Trek, Magic: The Gathering and LAN games.
I'm proud to be a Frellephant, and post my picture without fear. When you see it, you'll know that I have been weaving a tissue of lies to you, and am now laughing at you hysterically for even entertaining the possibility that elephants and frogs get it together. Everyone knows that they find toads far more attractive.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I run Seti@Home as a means of actually DOING something with my computer downtime, rather than have it just sit there and vegetate. That, and I want to be around when the next "wow" figures come up. They've got to come from one of us.
I believe that anyone who believes that we are the only life in the universe is being really very arrogant, and are not really entertaining how dwarf-scaringly big the universe is. Yes, the habitable zone is narrow, but a planet falling inside those boundaries is not impossible. It's simply a matter of time. |
