Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think there's a good chance that intelligent life is an attractive fixed point in the dynamics of the logical process of evolution. I have no guess as to what
volume of parameter space the attractive well covers, so it is possible that
we're the only ones out here, but it would seem rather unlikely, given the
genericness of our star.
