| My name is Jan Grindell and I'm from Doncaster, England. I work as a Creative Graphic Designer for the NHS. I'm 35 and have two children (Toni - 13 and Joe -12). We have three cats (Bonnie, Troy and Willow). I have been interested in UFOs for many years and we all enjoy watching the sky at night through the telescope. We've had some good sightings of the comet Ikeya-Zhang, but due to cloud, it's not visible at the moment. My other hobbies include: Music (metal), computers, games and reading (Fantasy & SF). |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| Although I heard of SETI quite a long time ago, it is only very recently that my sister told me about SETI@Home (she's is also a member). I believe that there is extraterrestiral life, Earth can't be the only life supporting planet in the universe and I am glad I am (or at least my computer is) a part of the search. As to us having contact with another race; I think we shall only have this when we begin to act with less prejudice and hate towards other humans and begin to treat and see the earth and life as the miracle it is. |
