Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. There is little doubt that extraterrestrial life exists, I am sure that we will find much life distributed across the galaxy should we ever be able to visit. I think that the odds are against finding intelligent life in *this* galaxy. I expect intelligent life to be very widely scattered with short survival times.
2. Why not? Anyone who had 'easy' interstellar travel would have sufficient technology that we would have little they would want. But, it would be nice to travel like they do!

We should send all the information we can as it may be our only epitaph.

3. I run SETI because I could be wrong. I hope I am.
