Personal background
I'm a web designer/graphic artist. Was a computer tech for 10 years and got tired of always being on computers that didn't work. When I got them up and running good I had to give them back.

So now I use working computers to look for aliens when I'm not designing graphics or Flash or writing HTML and Java code.

My latest project is loading up iPod's for people and transfering VHS to DVD, check out MPEGLOAD "http://www.mpegload.com/".

My brother Coolzz1 "http://www.netfirms.com/coolzz1" and I are the Seti@Home team Cydonia "http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=46212".
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think Seti@Home is one of the most important projects there are because it as close as we can get to actually searching out there in person.

Too much data for a small team so it's great and it gives us regular people a chance to help. Everybody Wins!

I think the new setup is great. Only thing I can think to change would be the ease of use of BOINC, some people would be scared to setup memory useage. I understand why you do it some people have dedicated Seti@Home machines and some people share the only computer they have just think there should be a version for newbie computer illiterate people that have default settings.
