I'm a 20 years old guy from Paris and I made a Seti@home cluster at work. This cluster is made of 1 'master' (my laptop) and 5 nodes, all nodes are Bi P4-Xeon 2.4 Ghz processors and have 1024Mo of RAM each. I can treat 10 Seti@home units at the same time and I'm going to expand this cluster by adding more computers.
This cluster runs PlumpOS (http://plumpos.sourceforge.net) with openMosix.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think that extraterrestrial life exists but not like we think and we won't find it before a long time!
