I'm from Iceland (currently living in denmark), age 23, my hobby is my pc and i've considered starting to become an MCSE or equivalent but i got some other things going on that takes up too much time, I'm also part of an online gaming clan called MOFO you can visit our page at www.mofo.dk
i'm running SETI on an AMD ThunderBird-C 1333MHz, 768MB PC133 RAM and other things in my pc include 100gb ata100 drives (2x30 1x40) graphics card is a Winfast geforce2 pro 64mb ddr and this machine is running windows 2000 server Service Pack2 (might gain performance on seti if i switch to linux but then i cant play all my games) i'm gonna move out of denmark very soon so ill be offline for some time (perhaps i wont even be able to get online for a month) |

does "E.T." exist .. good question actually because i cannot answer it as to whether we will find life out there. yes i do think that in the far future we actually might run into another form of life, the question is "Will it be intelligent" ;)
I mostly run seti@home because I too think that if we dont look, how will we ever know for sure, and we would surely regret if we never tried to find the answers!
I really don't think mankind is ready to discover alien life ...as for benefits of life in space is the possibility of advancing in technology (then again maybe we arent picking anything up bacause we are the leading race in technology..) |
