Personal background
Well. I am a 15 year old gurl from Ontario Canada. My first year of highschool is just ending and exams are comming up next week. In grade 10 im taking a space/astronomy coarse..the coarse is suppsose to be taken by grade 11's but i really wanted to take it so they let me. i have been interested in space ever since i was a little girl and now i enjoy studying it. the little that we did in science class this year was fun! The thouhgt of other life somewhere else other than Earth really makes me think. They could be just like us . They aren't necessarliy green that was just what someone made them up to be like..just an idea..although the thought also kinda freaks me out cuz what if there really is other life somewhere out there?! well i hope that SETI@home will help find the answer to that question!!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm not completly sure about my opinion of whether extraterrestrial life exists or not, but i don't totally think that there is no way that there could be. I'd like to think that there is a possiblity that there might be. But i'd also like to think at the same time that there isn't because they could be a WHOLE lot smarter then us !! and take over our world ! who knoes maybe they are watching us right now with some VERY high-tech tool. No one really knoes for sure. I run SETI@home so i can help out in the search for other life on other planets. I personally think that this was a very good idea and that it should not close down for any reason! keep going until we find something! and then keep going after that!..the only suggestion that i have is to advertise more!..the more people know about this the more help you would get right? well thats all i have to say for now! ... and if there is an ET reading this right now sumhow "hello" "we come in peace"
