| Personal background |
The 2nd Deptford Air Scout Group and 2nd North Deptford Guides meet at our Scout HQ in Deptford, SE London, not far from the Royal Observatory at Greenwich. We have been offering a programme of activities to boys and girls for over eighty years. We have a small computer network in our classroom which the kids can use.

| As Air Scouts we are interested in everything to do with aerospace. Someone jokingly said that we need to look for intelligent life in outer space because you won't find any in Deptford, but we don't believe that. We have a good bunch of kids. |
