| Personal background |
| I am a computer networking professor at the Great Basin College in Elko, Nevada, USA. I also occasionally teach an introductory astronomy class when my schedule allows it. As you can tell from the attached picture, I have been wearing myself to the bone analyzing SETI packets. My wife and I have 3 dogs (the 2 Goldens and a Newfoundland) as well as 2 cats. We live at the base of the Ruby Mountains where the night skies are dark and usually clear providing excellent viewing conditions for my 10" reflector. I have several computers running SETI both at home and the College. |
