Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. a) I do not believe we are the only intelligence in existance.
b) I believe we will discover other life forms when they are ready for us to know they exist.
c) We will need to wait and see what benefits or dangers may be derived by such encounter/s.

2. a) Yes. b) Just a generic we are here message.

3. a) My CPU is idle more than half the time, so I figured what the heck! Plus I like the screen saver.
b) Since the distances are so vast in space and time I believe it is mute to sample space for intelligence. Considering a transmission from a distance as small as 1 million light years will have originate when man was still living in caves and the source more than likely has long since perished.
c) No. Keep up the great work. Who knows, possibly, just possibly there maybe a traveler in the vacinity (in our galaxy) one day.
