Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?

Extra Terrestrial Live does EXIST, and we will discover it, and they will likely be based in the same medium, CARBON, and thus we will be able to interact and learn from them.

Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?

We should transmit a beacon to find extraterrestrial life because even if we do stumble upon them it is very unlikely it would have been from our puny transmission. We should send our location in the universe and a way for them to respond to our transmission.

Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?

I love the idea that my PC is still working even when im not there. I Like the idea of getting the most out of something i spent so much money on.I cant wait for the new SETI type programs that will allow users to choose which project their PC's will work on, be it Extraterrestrial, or complex weather pattern problems. That is Exciting.
