The backgrounds? Let me tell you 'bout the backgrounds!! ;-)
Uhm... backgrounds... well... Where should I begin - not from the beginning I hope.
The very first time I did something with or for SETI was a command line version for Unix. I tried the client and didn't quite even understand what was it all about. Nice toy with a lots of numbers. Good lookin with old PC486 with B/W monitor. So, it was a decoration then. Second time was, when I launched two SETI counters at work - my personal computer and Linux learning center for staff. The last one was running SETI as service and the first one were a screensaver. Now I'm running command line SETI on five PC based platforms with Windows and Linux OS. There was about the project of my point of view.
