I'm an IT specialist working in the states. I enjoy studying cosmology as a hobby (get a life -huh!). Other interests of mine include astronomy and gaming, especially laying waste to my son in Warcraft over our LAN.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
This universe is way too large for us to be alone! I have a greater fear for our human response to the discovery of "other life" than the Hollywood subscribed version of menacing LGM's wreaking havoc on our civilization once contact is made. Sad but true... But, it is our desire to learn as much about the universe as we possibly can (and subsequently ourselves) that compels us to seek answers to questions we have been asking ourselves since we've realized self-awareness.
