Hi I am John Hofland a 36 year old programmer from Heemskerk in The Netherlands. Been maried for 4 years now and since september 20th last year got a beatyfull daugther named Yasmin.
Hobbies are just about anything I find interesting (a lot) but mostly Swimming and Scouts.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am not to confident that we make any extraterrestrial contact in my life-time, but are very hopefull that we will eventually. And not checking would waisting oppertunities.
Sending signals is not bad either if we think we are ready for it because if we are contacted back the chances of bad or good alies is about 50% but the progress we make if contact is made must be enormous (I hope ;-)
