Profile: Andrew Juby

Personal background
I'm a 21-year-old college sophomore at the University of Kansas. I've been into computers as long as I can remember, which probably doesn't seem like that long to some of you, but it seems pretty long to me. In my spare time I work on my website and argue politics with whomever will listen to me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I tend to believe that extraterrestrial life exists, because the odds of only one planet in an vitually infinite universe carrying life seems pretty weak to me. I don't know if that life is sentient, or even around anymore, but I'm pretty sure at some point or another there is/was life out there.

I run SETI@home because I keep the outside hope that it's going to be my piddly little box in the middle of Kansas that makes first contact.
