Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I have no idea if extraterrestrial life exists. I think that it would be a complete fluke if we were the only one though. If there is other life out there, I would hope that they are not hostile. We have enough of that amongst our own species.
I run SETI@home because if there is extraterrestrial life, there is the possibility that my computer may be the one that finds it.
