My PC - Athlon XP 2000 , 640Mb Ram, Windows 2000 Pro / Redhat Linux 8.0
Brothers PC - AMD Duron 950Mhz, 256Mb Ram, Windows 2000 Pro
Dad's PC - AMD Duron 950Mhz, 512mb Ram, Windows 2000 Pro
Server - AMD Thunderbird 1Ghz, 256Mb Ram, Windows 2000 Server
ADSL Router - AMD Duron 850Mhz, 128Mb Ram, FreeBSD 4.7 (Prerelease), running the UNIX cmdline version of seti@home
Laptop - Intel P3 650Mhz, 256Mb Ram, Windows 2000 pro

A bit of helpful advice: If you want your WU time decreased, use the program "Seti Driver". It decreases the WU time by about 30% - 50%.
It can be downloaded from the "Add on" section in the SETI website your at now!
I think seti@home is a great idea, and I have no problem in it cutting a bit of our processing power! Let's hope we something on day! |
