| sick and tired of paranoids saying that seti projects should be stopped in case we attract attention and get invaded/enslaved, any race that can mount an interstellar invasion already has such a high level of technology that they would be commuting to work through the solar system every day and be well aware that somebody lives here, at least if we knew someone was out thereit would give governments time to divert funds from trivia like millenium domes and halfwit "artistic" monuments to something more worthwhile IE: space exploration/colonisation. |
