United Kingdom calling here anyone there:
Names Chris I am a 43-year-old truck driver, I first became interested in space and exploration when I saw Neil Armstrong take those first fragile steps down that ladder to the moons surface. And subsequently watched all the Apollo programmes on TV that fascinated and created what has become a part of my life. I have to admit Captain Kirk did his part to and the rest of the Star Trek Universe. Yeah I know its only TV but how many things from that TV series is now a part of every day life?
My grandma god bless her said to me when watching our hero swoon the galaxy,
“ Look at that silly man talking into that little box, how can they hear him all the way up there†Today I have a smaller one and can talk to anyone on the planet at any time almost anywhere. Mobiles what would we do without them!
So that’s how I became interested in space and WHATS OUT THERE!
My Hobbies are computing I love to surf and see what’s in here, like to chat to people on the net from all over the world, That’s how a found SETI browsing and thought time to put something back!

Lets face it there has to be some other form of intelligent life around, Lets hope they are doing a better job with there planet than we are with ours! OK off my soapbox.
The amount of galaxies planets suns and the shear vastness of space we cant be alone!
The Dangers of if and when!
I just hope when and if someone comes knocking at our door we don’t load as many Nuke Missiles as we can and shoot them. Lets leave that to Hollywood no offence to our friends across the pound UK film makers in the fifty’s made some horrendous B movies that has left images of aliens as the bad guys.
I am not religious in any way, still amazes me how people can think there is someone up there that started this all off, Its all based on legends and writings from not very intelligent people from hundreds of years ago. So a visit from another being 2000 years ago would have created A GOD! ??????
Should humans transmit? Why not!
Not sure what we should send maybe just our address.
I run SETI all the time know since buying a new pc, its an Emachines 2ghz chip plenty of ram so its on 24/7.
SETI is a great opportunity for me to put something back I would love to be part of a team investigating the universe this is my only way of being part of it.
