My name is frank uittenbosch. I am from Holland (europe).
I am 23 years old and im in the computer buissness. My hobbies are computers and everything that has anything to do with technology and space, i am particulary interested in "the overall human progress on scientific areas".
the first time i ever saw setiathome was on a friend's computer, over 10 years ago, and i decided to visit the web site. i downloaded the client and installed it. I Have been "infecting" as much computers with the client (Fast ones) as i could ever since ;)
Now with the release of the long awaited BOINC, im ready to do my part! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I am almost sure about the existance of alien life. I also think that they know our civilization very well. Perhaps in there eyes we are not ready ?
If this is NOT the case, well, they might also have been sending out radio transmissions via sattelites and such yust as we have.
Im not quite sure if we will find the proof wich we are all hoping for with these tools, but hey, It never hurts to:

- try
besides, my computers are on all day anyway, so why not use that processor capability :-)
any suggestions ? ehm well, i sure HOPE that a BOINC 64 BIT client wil soon be released so that all of us AMD 64 bit fanatics can use the full speed of the instruction-sets ;) |
