Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My thoughts on the existence of extraterrestrial life are simply that
I believe we can't possibly be the only sentient beings in a universe
so large and unknown.
How we will gain verifiable proof remains an unknown.
The dangers and benefits are both too great to speculate on.
I believe we should continue to search for proof, although I also
believe we have already been discovered by other extraterrestrial life.
I run the seti@home program simply to make a small contribution
in the search for proof.
My personal experiences with and observations of UFO's and other unknown
phenomenon are diverse and seemingly unexplainable and rarely believed
by our societies values and standard beliefs.
