I'm from Holland, i'm 22 years old and I like beer:) I joined up here because it's just cool to tell yer friends that yer computer is looking for ET:)
What else do I do, errrrm. Drink beer, listen to metal, program stuff and drink more beer. Oh and table-soccer, if anyobdy even knows what that is.
Anyways not much to say about me, so i'll leave it at this.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I surely believe there is more life out there, it would be pretty weird if we were the only ones. I doubt we will discover it using seti@home but who cares, the project is great and I think it's great to be apart of it. If we do meet more advanced aliens there chance in my eyes would be pretty great that they are hostile, I mean, we are so why shoudn't they. If they are friendly I doubt they even like us, but it could lead us to a new age of humanity.
I think we should keep trying to find if something is out there, and besides it's not really my problem, by the time they get a signal of ours i'll be long gone(probably). I dunno what we should send, they will get our stupid tv shows first before they get an actual message from us so I doubt they will even know that we are sending a message and not some crappy tv-show:)
I run seti@home because my computer is on anyways, so why not get to work. And I like the screensaver, it's cool when friends come around and they ask what my computer is doing, you can say stuff like it's working for seti looking for aliens. The project itself is great though, all these ppl working together towards the same goal. And that's about it.
