My name is John E Novak Jr I live in a small town called Blawnox, It is about 9 miles north east of Pittsburgh Pa. I am two blocks from the Allegheny river.
I am 42 yrs old. I'm a stock clerk in the maintance dept. of the largest airline in Pittsburgh. My hobbies include digital photography, viewing the stars with one of my best friends, {when it is not cloudy which seems like it always is}. I also enjoy watching anything sci-fi. I just switched to dish network system, and I love the nasa station it offers. I am also a animal lover, I resued a dog from the pound two years ago, he is now 61/2 yrs old, 120 #'s, I also have two cats & a fifty five gallon fish tank. |

1. Yes I do beleive there is extraterrestrial life. As it was said in the movie contact. It sure would be a big waste of space, etc.... I think it
S_ _ Ks that the gov. no longer funds SETI. I think this will be are first contact. On the benefits WOW who knows what wonder it could bring.
2. Should we transmit a beacon, most denefitly I thought we were, The info should be the basic, who we are, what we look like, and where we are in the universe as best we can place ourselfs.
3. Why do I run SETI? It is my hope that my computer discovers something,and that I would be invited to visit SETI if it turns out to be creditable.
Given what you have to work with I think you are doing a great job, I only wish I had money to give you, But you never know I may someday hit the lottery. |
