Personal background |
I graduated Pure and Applied Science in college, and now I'm a Computer Science student in University. My occupation besides studies is time mostly spent with family and friends. I also try to be active in community events. Intrests in general are: technology (computers, cellular, etc...), business (sales, marketing), cars and exploring anything and everything (a.k.a. learning) |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I do belive that something is out there, somewhere. Benifits of this is that we are not the only ones in the universe, dangers have yet to be thought of. There could be many dangers, but that depends on what will be found.
Should we send info, we I think in general we already give of a lot (cellular, radio and other transmitions on earth), however something specifically geared as an "information package" would be the ideal solution and directed to a specific area would also be wise (distance becomes an issue).
I ran the SETI@home a while ago, then the usual computer crash had put me off. I'm back and with a stronger PC, hoping to continue helping out. |
