Yes i do think that lije exist out there.
Mostlikely the first extraterrestrial(kinda like small bacterias) will be found by some probe that we are send to explore Mars, and the other planets/moons of our solar system.When will we find it, no one knows, will it be good or bad, well discovery took us to what we are now, something are good others are not.
We should transmit Music(at least we listen to music independent of our language)
We run seti@home because it allows us to participate in a very big and important project.
