OLT, OnLine Training Institute is a one stop training development and delivery company. We work in partnership with colleges to develop continuing professional education courses that allow the student to control when and from where they study. Our courses are completely online and use a training development model that through comparative studies has proven to be as effective or more effective than classroom based instruction. At the foundation of our courses are notions associated with self-directed learning and adult motivation theory.
We also extend our interest into the area of stimulating the development of high self-directed learners through an active involvement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. This includes projects with NASA, IOTA, and and ARRL designed to excite the minds of young learners. We further conduct research in the areas of persistence in an industry (career success) and knowledge creation through the engagement of high self-directed learners.
We participate in SETI@HOME as a way of making an continuing contribution to science, even when we aren't thinking about it. |
