Personal background
I'm a swedish male born in 1971. I am 1.82m tall (approximately 6 feet) and weigh around 105kg (approximately 231 lbs). I have dark brown hair, green eyes and I am heavyset.

I recently had to give up my hopes of becoming a teacher, due to an unexpected and rather severe form of gaut. I'm strong but can't move to the extent I want to, because of a disease called gaut. It's a inflammatory disease that attacks the joints in the body. Typical is swelling of toes, ancles and knees.

I'm currently unemployed, but will hopefully find something meaningful to do soon. Earlier I've had an about ten year long career in the computer business. I'm a trained PC-administrator/technician.

I have always lived in Sweden, but enjoy traveling. I have so far been to:
-Finland
-Denmark
-Norway
-Germany
-Holland
-United Kingdom
My dream journey would be a round the world trip, with lots of time to explore on my own.

Amongst my hobbies are worth mentioning: computers, computer games, science fiction in general, watching tv and movies, my cat.

I'm currently single, as anyone that read my hobbies would probably already have guessed :-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run the SETI@home project since I'm very positive to research on space and the Universe in general.
2. Even though the odds of finding other life in space may be slim to nothing, I still believe it's worthwhile. It's improbable that this is the only planet with life on it, and I for one wouldn't mind if we would encounter an alien race.
3. Start lobbying for an SETI project in space. Send out a probe and explore, without the distorsions our atmosphere, and for that matter our solar system, are responsible for. If you can engage this many users worldwide on this project, perhaps a larger project would be doable?
