Personal background
Hello outer space! In the plastics industry, I work as an electrical engineer and product quality manager. The company for which I work builds the most accurate and repeatable injection molding machine currently available in the market. I have access to computing power spanning more than 500 machines and hope to add Seti@Home/BOINC to most of them by the end of 2005. Although the only extra-terrestrial life I believe to exist is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, I am really into the idea of using the distributed computing power of the internet to solve or to predict life changing events. So, I will donate flops and bandwidth to the cause. Visit my website at pollard-family.org and may God bless you.

Best regards,
Jonathan D. Pollard

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
As the technology matures, I hope to see tangible uses for the technology; Uses which might alter and improve the global human condition.
