Personal background
Hi, I'm from Argentina and I've been using Seti@Home since it came out... I still hope we will find ET life...
I work in programming and I study Physics, I'm a huge fan of science fiction in all its forms, I recently finished reading the whole "Interview with the vampire" series, I thought it was great...

Well, anyway, I'll add something else later.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course I think ET life exists, I wouldn't be writing this otherwise; I think it would be awesome if an organization like MIB existed here on earth, it could be possible, right? (That's answering when will humans discover it ;)).

I think it wouldn't make humanity a big favor to discover ET life right now, more advanced life that is, with all the wars and the centralized power that we have in our planet... people in power would take advantage of that, always thinking in their own interests...
Until we reach a level in society, where all work thinking in the greater good, without exploiting others, and countries are no more; when we start thinking as a whole, as a planet, it wouldn't be good to start contact with extraterrestial life.

Feel free to contact me if you feel otherwise, or not, and you want to talk about this.
