I graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in computer science in 2004. I now work for the university as a java/SQL developer. I enjoy programming so much I decided just doing it at work wasn't good enough so I started a BOINC statistics website. It has nifty history graphs as well as combined BOINC stats from many of the active BOINC projects. You can see for yourself by visiting http://stats.kwsn.net!
I enjoy long moonlit SQL queries on a quad opteron and romantic java API calls.
You can find me on IRC most of the time. I hang out in the #setiathome channel on EFnet (irc.efnet.net). My usual nick is MacG. The front page of my stats site has a button that will take you straight into the channel with us. What WILL they think of next??
My profile picture is my latest hobby - a new quad core AMD Phenom system. It was unstable until I got that huge heatsink to help keep it cool. Now to see how high its RAC will go... |
