Personal background
Hi, My name is Jason and I'm a Sound Designer/Engineer from Vancouver, Canada. I've studied and worked with sound all my life, and have also studied Space (in general) for the last 7 years. Helping SETI was a natural move that fits in with everything I'm about. Anti-Gravity and Zero-Point Energy are two new areas of interest. I hope that in my lifetime we will all have the pleasure of discovering something fantastic. (I am 36 as of 11/16/2003).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Extraterrestrial life most certainly does exist. I'm not sure when we will discover ET, but most likely they will discover us first. BENEFITS could include; major advances in technology, medicine. Could possibly open up the universe to us.
DANGERS could include; Could possibly open up the universe to us. Panic. Loss of control of our planet.

2. I thought we were transmitting a beacon with all of our broadcast towers already?

3. I want to help you as much as possible to achieve your goal, because something needs to change on this planet. I think the project is the most incredible and most important mission for all of humankind. My suggestion is in the form of a question. Do you own your own dish or array? If not, then my suggestion would be to move toward a goal like that if your are not already.
