Hi! I'm a computer programmer. I always like to make computers I work on "sweat" (work really hard for really long periods of time) - so I thought that being part of the largest supercomputer in the world was a good way to make it sweat even when I wasn't around!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think it is a mathematical certainty that life does exist "out there". But, I think we may never contact it if we keep using EM type communications. After all - drawing from Carl Sagan - Vega is 26 light-years away and not very interesting. More interesting possiblities are out there - but it will be our lifetime before we can Contact them. ;-)
