Profile: James A. Clark

Personal background
Hi all fellow searchers, I currently reside in Croydon, Surrey, England. I was born on the 26th of April 1981, which would make me 25 at the time of writing this.

I am currently a Sales Support Advisor for RFP Limited, and i have only been working here for a couple of months.

Majority of my spare time is spent on FFXI, or watching comedy.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do i believe in E.T's, well i think that how big the universe is it would be pretty arrogant to believe that we were the only intelligent life around.

It should be interesting when the time comes and we are faced with the fact that aliens exist...well we've got time to worry about that...i just wonder if it'll be in my lifetime.

I wouldn't send a beacon for others to find, i think that we are not technologically advanced enough and not socially advanced enough to be able to manage dealings with intelligent life elsewhere.

When our planet is more unified then maybe, but still a maybe. At the moment it seems that this world of ours is all about division and i really don't see that helping.

The reason i use SETI@home is that if there is a possibility of discovering intelligent life then it would be nice to know that i contributed.
