| Personal background |
I am 35 years old. I am Telecommunications Engineer, and I am from Madrid, Spain. I work for a Software firm, and I use SETI@home when I am in meetings and I don't use my PC.
I hear from SETI many years ago, when I was a kid, and one of my worries was "How will they sound?", thinking about a "voice message" of ET. Later, in the high school and the University, I understood more or less, how they could "sound".
But now, I wonder if I will live enough to hear something....

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
My old boss told me about SETI@home. I quickly downloaded the program and installed it. Now, I have recently moved to BOINC
I run SETI@home basically to help the project. It doesn't mind if it is other person who find something...I will feel like if I was the fortunate one. It is the way a team works, isn't it?
About ET...well, I am pretty sure that they are there, and we will discover them, later or sooner. But I think that we won't have a close encounter with them, at least in the next years. |
