I'm a 28 years of age. I live in The Hague in the Netherlands. Since I was 10 years old I'm interested in space and everything that is related. I wanted to be an astronaut, but instead I became an officer in the Dutch Navy. Something completely different (but not less exciting?)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My hobby is still space and because I'm sure there is life out there, I like to join this SETI@home programm. I think the extraterrestrial life is not nearby. Perhaps is not even possible with the current technology to detect any ET-signal. The search at this moment however is very important because it makes it possible to do research, improve technology and learn more about signals from the universe... and....perhaps we will get an answer some day...we'd better hear it!!!
