I am from the United Kingdom and born in Wales.
I have always been interested in Space since the days if Yuri Gagarin right through to the historic Apollo flights.
Dr Carl Sagan was another big influence in my life.
Astronomy is fast becoming one of my best hobbies and I am hoping soon to get a top of the range telescope so that I can really see for myself what is out there.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because to find other life in Space would be the most fascinating thing ever . AS was quoted in one of Carl Sagan`s films/book If we are the only living beings in the universe - then it is an awful waste of Space.
To be able to run such a project as this makes me feel as if I am participating in something massive and historic - especially if my computer is the one that picks up that ever so important First Contact message!
I dont know if this is possible - but it would be ever so good to hear sound on this project - even if it is just white noise - to hear the sounds of the stars and planets would make the experience even better.
