I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina, currently living in the UK
I have a degree in Information Systems (Licenciado en Informatica, 1997), and an HND from the Open University in Engineering. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I do think that extraterrestrial life exist. I have no idea when we will discover it, or if they discovered us already.
The benefit will be finally learning that we are not the superior species in the universe, and from that, I hope we can learn to live better with ourselves and the environment.
2. We are already broadcasting our radio waves to the universe, We should consider what we broadcast every day, so whenever we are found by someone else, they would not hesitate to contact us.
3. I run seti@home as a way to be a part of that discovery. I think it's an excellent way of proving to the rest of the world, how millions of people can work together for a common goal. |
